Holiday drivers seem to be affected by the rain, but not by the high gas prices.

Bridgeport State Police Trooper B.W. Claypool says, he hasn't noticed an increase or a decrease in drivers even though we've seen pump prices at $4.19 a gallon.

Triple A puts the national average price of a gallon of regular over $4.10.

A month ago it was $3.98 and a year ago it was $2.95 a gallon.

Barrel prices are just above $1.45 a barrel, but the drivers we talked to say they won't stop filling up.

Trooper Claypool says, he hasn't even seen a change in the way people drive even though they know speeding guzzles gas.
