The Nationwide Tour is back at Pete Dye Golf Club, and so are the thousands of people who want to watch.

There are 144 players in the tour and this year the newest addition is a million dollar purse.

The player's cup has spectators watching nationally and even internationally, keeping all eyes on Bridgeport, West Virginia.

Bridgeport Mayor Jim Christie says, he's excited to continue having the tour, and the newest Player's Cup event that they have.

Christie expects that this tour will put the city on "the map."

The pros, bring the fans who eat, shop, and sleep so local businesses in the area say this is one of their biggest earning periods.

The Wingate Hotel in Charles Pointe is completely sold out for the week and 60 rooms are held for the Golf Channel, and the PGA Group.

Executive Tournament Director Tim McNeely says, it's this golf course and the local people that bring fans back year after year.
