First New Deal Community in Nation Celebrates

It was a step back in tome this Saturday in the Arthurdale community in Preston County.

The New Deal Festival celebrates the nation's first "New Deal Homestead Community." This was a project former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt created. Part of the festivities included a memorial 5-K and Roosevelt reenactor on scene.

The event is in it's tenth year of celebrations.
