Since the cost of fuel has nearly tripled in the past six months air lines have begun charging flyer's from their luggage to their drinks, but they aren't making a profit.

Airline officials said the increase in fuel cost is more of a crisis than 9-11 and this is one catastrophe that they can predict what will happen next.   Air lines are doing all they can to cut back to save on fuel consumption they are even getting rid of magazines on board that add unwanted weight.

Airport officials said the best way to save when flying is to book flights early, pack light, and shop around for the best rates even if that means traveling further to a smaller airport.
