Community Up In Arms About Rumored Gaming Parlor

WDTV News

Cheat Lake residents are campaigning to "Stop the Hot Spot" after a gaming parlor threatens to move into their community.

The alleged site of the new parlor is on the corner of Bell and Bowers lanes just off of Route 857.

Residents say they're worried that the addition of a Hot Spot would compromise the community and devalue homes.

Documents show the property is owned by Edgar Cosner, who told us that any reports about a gaming parlor opening there are false and filled with false information.

If you want to sign the petition started by the residents of Cheat Lake, you can log on to www.stopthehotspot.com.
