With the number of children on the internet at an all time high, more is being done to keep them safe.

"I-CAC" is a task force that works to keep kids safe from online predators. They work on both proactive cases that involve undercover agents as well as retroactive cases that come from community complaints. Police say that monitoring your child's personal websites such as Myspace is the most important step.

The state police say they can come to your school and teach kids about online safety. Those interested should call 293-6401.
