It's possible that the town of Jane Lew has more traffic on Labor Day weekend than any day of the year. Several thousand people were in town as the Jane Lew VFD held their biggest fundraiser of the year.

While the vendors benefit from the sales, the fire department collects on the booth set-up fees.

Firefighters also held a boot drive as drivers passed through the festival.

Member Bobby Stewart says the Fireman's Show gives the station a boost throughout the year when they need to purchase new fire apparatuses and invest in safety training courses.

The Fireman's Show began Friday and ran through Sunday evening.
