t least five shots were fired from a Taylor County home Friday in Grafton.

The shooting happened shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Haymond Road. The victim was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital where she remains in stable condition. 

 The 38-year-old woman has children at Grafton High School, Taylor County Middle School, and Anna Jarvis Elementary School which were put on lock down as a safety precaution. 

Police say it was an isolated incident and may have been an attempted robbery and murder.  The Grafton City Police, Taylor County Sheriff's Department, and the State Police and their CSI Unit are handling the investigation.
