The West Virginia Wesleyan College community comes together to say a final good-bye to a student killed last week.

Daniel Duncan was killed by a drunk driver while riding his bike on Route 20.

School Officials say this past week, there's been a dark cloud hanging over the campus, but Tuesday was a day for folks to remember and honor a life that was cut short.

The Wesley Chapel was packed with students, community members and Duncan's family. Daniel was laid to rest this past week in his hometown of Norwalk, Ohio, but the campus felt they needed to do something to honor his life.

Duncan was a Political Science major at Wesleyan and a member of the college's Concert Choir, Jazz Ensemble and Cycling Club.

Student's we've talked to say Daniel was a bright, wonderful young man; a likable student who's life was cut short because of a tragic accident.

Roger Lee Harrison was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident and with driving under the influence resulting in death, in connection to Daniels death. But school officials say Duncan's family visited the jail and have forgiven Harrison for what he's done.
