The Clarksburg Police solve a string of burglaries and put one man behind bars.

The Clarksburg Detective Unit worked on finding Michael Sampson who they say took boxes full of jewelry from a few houses right here in town.

Detective Jason Webber picked Sampson up Thursday  and now he faces two counts of burglary, but that might not be it.

Sergeant Jason Snider could possibly pin a few other charges on him.

During this investigation they were able to recover some of the jewelry for these families, but there's still a significant amount of valuables  missing.

Chief Marshall Goff says, these items hold a sentimental value and they'd like to return it all.

If you anyone has information that could help this investigation you can call the Clarksburg tipline at 624-1625.
