A Clarksburg man lands himself behind bars after Police catch him breaking into the Hartland Planing building Friday night.

Clarksburg police arrested 22-year old Joseph Buck Thompson for breaking and entering, conspiracy and destruction of property. He is currently in the North Central Regional Jail on a $15,000 bond.

Police say this is the second time the Hartland building in downtown Clarksburg has been broken into in the past month.

It happened Friday night around 11:00 after an alarm went off.

Police believe Thompson may have been responsible for the previous break-in at the building and could even be connected to other breaking and enterings throughout Clarksburg.

Detectives say more individuals may have broken into the building last night but they aren't sure.

Police aren't sure why this building was targeted.  Last time thieves did $19,00 worth of theft and damages  This time however, they don't think they got away with anything.
