The Preston County Sheriff's Department has released the name of the man found dead along a road Sunday afternoon.

Police have just identified the victim as 52-year-old Robert Kelsey of Morgantown. His body was found in a ditch in the Indian Rocks area near Reedsville. Preliminary information from the medical examiner's office reveals that Kelsey sustained severe injuries to his head and neck. Sheriff's deputies have interviewed a woman who was with him over the weekend and think the two may have been involved in a domestic dispute prior to his death. They're also searching a car that could have been used to either hit or drag him.

The Sheriff's office is urging anyone who has information on the case or was in the Indian Rocks area last weekend to call them at 329-1611.
