Katelyn Sykes

The Buckhannon Police Department is doing their part to help folks throughout the community. For the first time ever the department is offering finger printing processing at city hall.

The department is constantly looking for ways to serve the public through a variety of means now this program will just be one more thing to help folks in the community. The station is available for anyone who need's printed, whether it be for a job or for a child.

Right now they're offering the service for free but will soon charge $5 in order to off-set the cost of paper and ink.

The department does a lot for folks in the community such as establishing different programs for groups and offering safety tips. Now this is more more thing they can add to the list.

Folks who are interested in getting inked can stop at city hall from 8-4.  And remember, the service is currently free.
