Kenneth Mikolon is charged with 17 counts of sexual assault and is facing decades behind bars.

Mikolon was set to go to trial this morning in Taylor County Court but just didn't show up.

Authorities then went to his home at 409 Maple Avenue and he was also no where to be found. They did find, however, find evidence that could lead to where he is.

Authorities say that Mikolon could be armed and is considered dangerous.

The case has been turned over to the U.S. Marshals and a nationwide search is underway. He has also been charged with "failure to appear," which is another felony.

Mikolon was accused of multiple counts of sexual abuse by a parent and first degree sexual assault back in September of 2007.
