A fire destroys a Lewis County home and keeps crews working for hours.

A home on Gee Lick Road went up in flames Monday afternoon.

Weston Fire Fighters were called to the scene after a passer-by called 911.

Crews say the back of the home was fully engulfed, but luckily no one was hurt.

The State Fire Marshal's office was called in to investigate.
