Thanksgiving is next Thursday and folks are looking for the best place to find a turkey.

Louis Roy, owner of White Oak Ridge Farm, near Philippi just opened up a meat processing farm this month and says the quality of turkey meat processed by a local farmer is a good alternative to buying one at your supermarket.

He says the turkeys they provide for customers don't include the preservatives that you find at the supermarket and are processed within three days of delivery to keep the meat fresh.
