Elkins police find marijuana in a dorm room at Davis and Elkins College sending a student to jail.

Kenneth McCartney is arrested and charged with manufacturing a controlled substance.

Elkins police received an anonymous e-mail about drug activity going on in McCartney's room. Police searched the room and found a number of marijuana plants growing in containers and drug paraphernalia.

McCartney is being held at the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
