Veteran fire fighter Lieutenant Herb Butcher gets honored by Weston and Buckhannon fire crews.

Wednesday a full fireman's funeral was in memory of 66 year old Butcher who died from an extended illness.

They lost him on Saturday, but they'll never forget the 46 years of service he gave to the community.

Weston Fire Chief Mike Young says no matter what the circumstance "Herbie" always tried to come back to the department to become active, and they'll miss him.
