One person is hurt Monday night at the Federal Number 2 Mine in Fairview. It happened just before 9:30pm at the mine off of Miracle Run Road.

Responders say a boulder fell on a man's head while he was about 30 minutes from the surface.

When crews got him to the surface, he was reported as conscious, but was then flown by HealthNet to Ruby Memorial Hospital. The extent of his injuries was not known Monday night.
