Fire broke out at a Clarksburg home early Tuesday morning.

It started around 1:00 A.M. on Duff Street.

Clarksburg fire officials say there were heavy flames in the front and side of the structure when they arrived on scene, and that he fire appears to have started in a second floor bedroom area of the house.

Two people were home when the fire started, but both were able to get out safely.

A house next door also suffered some minor heat damage.
