Hang up calls can get pretty annoying for most people, but for 911 centers everywhere it's a major burden.

It's an issue because not only do these hang ups take time away from real emergencies, but these dispatchers have to track these people down to make sure everything is okay.

Harrison-Taylor 911 Center Administrative Coordinator Jim Copenhaver let us in on a few details that might make you think twice about intentionally prank calling 911.

He says it takes up time and resources because they have to send fire, police, and e-m-s to your rescue just in case.

And if you accidentally call 911, don't hang up just let the dispatcher know what happened that way they're not looking for you.
