Bridgeport Police arrest a suspect they believe hit a man with a car back on New Year's Eve.

Chief John Walker says they arrested 24-year-old William Jeremiah Koch and charged him with malicious wounding.

Detective Matthew Wilfong says Koch hit David Dorman with his car in the Home Depot Plaza parking lot.

Wilfong says the incident happened after an argument at the Town House East parking lot.

Dorman was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital in critical condition after being hit by a car.

Koch could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
