It's a problem plaguing Upshur County.  Another business is broken into which makes it the fifth one in just two weeks.

The problem isn't isolated to just one location. The breaking and entering's are spanning the county, from Hodgesville to Rock Cave.

Someone broke into the Family Dollar in Rock Cave sometime between last Tuesday evening to Thursday morning. Troopers say someone forced their way into the business through the back door and then attempted to get into the safe. Police were able to get the security footage from the store and say it doesn't look like anything was taken.

Troopers say it's important that if anyone notices any suspicious activity in their neighborhood or around businesses to report it as soon as possible.

You can call the Buckhannon Detachment of the State Police at 473-4200.
