Eleven Lewis County businesses have been cited apparently because they sold alcohol to minors.

Troopers did a compliance check on 40 businesses in the area and about 1/4 of them supposedly violated the law. The citations were issued to the employees and the Alcoholic Beverage Commission is dealing with the owners. The eleven businesses were all different bars and dairy marts in the area.
