5 NEWS UPDATE: Bomb Threat Is Over At Lewis County High School

The bomb threat is over at Lewis County High School.
A juvenile confessed to writing the threat that was discovered at the school late Thursday morning.  He will most likely face charges through a juvenile petition.
School officials received a written note that threatened there was a bomb at the school in the afternoon. Students were immediately transferred to the Armory as a precaution.
Even though the threat is over, students were still dismissed at 1:30 p.m. from all Lewis County schools since the dismissal had already been announced.
The Weston Police Department, State Police and the Lewis County Sheriff's Department responded to the threat.

5 News has confirmed that another bomb threat has been reported to a local school. This time, Lewis County High School is the recipient of this newest threat.
No other information has been released as of 12:45 pm Thursday afternoon, aside from the threat was discovered and announced around noon.  All Lewis County schools will be dismissing at 1:30 p.m..
This marks the third day in a row that a local school has received such a threat. In every other case, none of them turned out to be legitimate.

If authorities are tough enough on those who do these things and make an example out of them......we won't see these happen often anymore. No Tolerance on threats as these is the absolute necessity.

What happened to the days when a prank was something as innocent as hiding your teacher's desk items? It is amazing how the world has changed. It's time to hand down some serious punishment and make an example of these students. Enough is enough.
