An auto-pedestrian accident in Marion County turned into a crime scene Monday, after one woman was flown to the hospital. Tuesday, deputies told us they're now considering it an accident.

This happened on Shanty Hill Road in Four States Monday afternoon. Deputies said George Markley was drunk while he was driving a gray car, and ran over a woman's foot.

Since alcohol was involved, deputies said the car was moving while she tried to get in the car, which caused her to slip and hit her head on the road. Apparently Markley and the woman's boyfriend then got into a fight, so Markley went back to his home just a few yards away.
After deputies drew their weapons and forced their way into his home, Markley was taken into police custody. He was later charged with third offense DUI and driving on a revoked license for DUI.
Still no word on the woman's name or condition at this time.

The guy did not "flee" the scene, or try to elude capture. The reason he went into his house, a few yards from the scene, is because another guy was beating on him while the girl laid in the road. I agree that these stories should not be posted untill all the information is received. If a reporter is on site to ask who the perp is, and you make it known to the public, why can't you "investigate" and get more details. The lifestyle that these individuals live contributed to this accident. My point is, there are more details to this story, and there is more than one guy to blame.

This is not true the statement made that the girl had serious injuries, i talked to this girl at the hospital and she is fine so therefore if u people wanna post things about people then maybe u should get ur facts straight before u go displaying it on tv!!!!!!!!!!! This is why nobody watches the news anymore because u never have the right details and u leave important facts that should be aired, out!!! I also do believe it is such bull how u all put videos on the news of people without their permission making them look like common criminals when u have absolutely no idea what the true story is, so the next time u decide to video and make up lies think about it because there is always going to be someone who knows the truth about the situation and alot more details then u glorified overpaid morons do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
