Crews were out early Tuesday morning battling a fire at a local pallet plant.
The fire broke out a little after 1:00 Tuesday morning at the Keller & Sons plant on Riverside Drive in Clarksburg. The building was destroyed, but firefighters were able to contain it in time to stop it from spreading to the building next to it.
It's not clear how the fire started. The city fire marshal will be going to the scene to investigate.
The Clarksburg Fire Department told 5 News that the tin roof of the building was making it difficult to put the fire completely out. Nobody was there at the time, and nobody was injured.
