Divers were able to locate the body of a missing CONSOL Energy employee inside the submerged bulldozer early Monday and they're working to retrieve it from underwater.

A series of dives over the weekend allowed rescuers to find the exact position and location of the bulldozer in the Robinson Run Preparation Plant slurry pond. On Monday morning, crews went down and cut an opening into the canopy of the bulldozer. That's when they were able to confirm the body was inside. It's still a complex recovery and they're trying to take all measures so that crews are safe during it.
Ten days ago, a massive failure in the saddle dam area of the impoundment caused a section of area to break and fall into the slurry pound. Four employees were in the area. One was far enough back that he was safe. The other two were pulled into the water but are recovering. The missing employee was inside the bulldozer when it fell into the slurry.

At the request of his family, his name hasn't been released.
An investigation by multiple agencies including CONSOL and MSHA is ongoing.
