UPDATE: Sunday, September 8th:
Anyone wishing to donate to the family who lost their home on Monday in a fire can do so by going to any Huntington Bank and asking for the Mary Conley fund.
Family members called 5 News and said the cause of the fire was electrical.
UPDATE: Tuesday, September 3, 3:30 a.m.
Firefighters aren't sure what exactly sparked the flames at the home. They started in a back laundry room area, which was near a grill outside the home.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, flames were shooting from the left side before they spread into the roof, engulfing almost all of it over an hour and a half timeframe.
Although it does not appear to be suspicious in nature, the Jane Lew Fire Department will call the State Fire Marshal's Office to investigate so they can try to determine a cause.
The Red Cross is helping the family who lived at the home.
