5 NEWS UPDATE (11/5):

Investigators have identified the man killed in a collision in Mon County Monday.


Media outlets are reporting that Junior Murray was pronounced dead at the scene after a dump truck collided with his pick up truck.  
According to investigators,  Murray was crossing Route 7 to go on to Summers School Road.  When he did so, he pulled into the path of an oncoming dump truck headed west.  The dump truck hit Murray's truck on the driver-side and pushed it toward the left side of the road. 

5 NEWS UPDATE (11/4):

Summer School Road in Morgantown has been reopened.

The accident involved a dump truck and a pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck died.

State Police are handling the investigation.

ORIGINAL (11/4):

One person died after a car crash in Morgantown on Monday afternoon.

According to MECCA 911, emergency crews are on the scene of a vehicle accident at the intersection of Summer School Road and Earl Core Road in Morgantown.

Traffic on Earl Core Road is moving slow and Summer School Road has been shut down. Officials expect the road will be closed for about an hour. People are being asked to avoid the area.

There's no word on how many vehicles were involved, or if anyone else was hurt.
