5 NEWS UPDATE: Fire Traps Man on Roof, Injures 3 Firefighters

Update 4/17:
A fire that broke out at a Fairmont apartment complex Tuesday night trapped one man on the roof and injured three firefighters.

It happened around 8:45 p.m. on the 100 block of Fairmont Avenue. Luckily, firefighters were able to save the man from the roof of the complex and all three firefighters who were hurt only had minor injuries.
No word on what started the blaze, but officials don't think it was suspicious.

It took crews a little more than an hour to get a fire under control that tore through an apartment in Marion County on Tuesday night.
That fire started around 8:45 p.m. in the upper level of the apartment complex in the 100 block of Fairmont Avenue.
Firefighters told 5 News that had to save someone from the roof. Luckily, no one was hurt.
No word on what started the fire.
