Taylor County:
The Red Cross is serving hot meals to those without heat and electric at the Hammond Building. They're serving lunch from noon until 2:00 p.m. and dinner from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Upshur County:
Residents can receive hot meals for lunch (11:30am-1:00pm) and dinner (4:30pm-6:00pm) at the following locations until further notice, or until meals run out:
- Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Buckhannon
- Selbyville Fire Department
- Ellamore Fire Department
Water stations with free bottles of water will be set up at the following locations until supplies last:
- Washington District Fire Department in Tallmansville
- Buckhannon Fire Department
- Bank Fire Department in Rock Cave
- Ellamore Fire Department
Upshur, Barbour, Randolph, Webster, Lewis Counties:
Chainsaw teams from the Southern Baptist Convention Relief Effort will be in town early this week around Tuesday, November 6th to clean up personal and private property that has fallen trees and other debris. If you live in one of these counties and would like to request this service, call your local emergency management agency.
