5 NEWS UPDATE: Inmates Charged In Circle K Robbery

UPDATE (4/3):

Two men, already in jail, are now facing armed robbery charges in relation to a March robbery at the Circle K in Morgantown.

Police say Timothy Connolly, 36, and Daniel Ash, 28, walked into the Circle K on Grafton Road on March 26th with knives. They got away with cigarettes and an unknown amount of cash.

Both men were apparently already in jail on unrelated charges when police identified them as the suspects.


Wednesday night meant another armed robbery in Monongalia County.

According to 911 officials, this time a robber struck the Circle K on Grafton Road in Morgantown just before 11 p.m. State Police are saying two men were wearing masks and walked inside. The suspects threatened workers with a knife and eventually took off.
