Officials told 5 News Thursday night that this incident happened in July, but in February the child finally broke down and told a teacher that "he had a big secret" to tell.

That's when police were called in, and began investigating Bruce Clayton. During a forensic interview the child told police that Clayton had threatened him to not tell anyone about what happened or else. Police in Grant Town and Fairview arrested Clayton outside of the Circle K in Fairview.

He's charged with first degree sexual assault.

The Grant Town Police Department arrested a 19-year-old on Wednesday evening on first degree sexual assault charges.

Police said Bruce Clayton, had an inappropriate relationship with a young boy.

Keep it to 5 News for the latest on this case.
