The Morgantown Police Department has released the identity of the body that was found Wednesday near West Virginia University's campus. They have identified the body as 43-year-old Barry Lee Price. This incident remains under investigation. Stay with 5 News for the latest updates.
Original Story (2/6):
Police in Morgantown are investigating after a man was found dead near West Virginia University's campus Wednesday afternoon.
Officers said they got a call for a medical emergency a little after 12:30 near the Caperton Trail behind Stansbury Hall.
That's where they found a man's body between the trail and the river.
investigators said a cause of death is pending an examination by the Medical Examiner's Office.
