Thomas Aichele was the man hit by a car Friday morning in Clarksburg. He's at Ruby Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
A man was hit by a car while he was crossing the street in Clarksburg on Friday morning.
This happened around 11 a.m. on Buckhannon Avenue, right in front of the Exxon station. Police said the woman who was driving didn't see the man crossing the road, and wasn't able to stop in time to avoid hitting him.
Emergency officials said he might have hit the car's windshield and could have head trauma. They also said he appeared to be unresponsive on the scene.
The man was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital. There's no word his name or condition at this time.
