Police told 5 News on Wednesday that it looks like Dennis Roy Sr. shot and killed his wife Dorothy, then turned the gun on himself.

The Mon County Sheriff's Office has released the names of the persons involved in the murder-suicide that happened Monday on Merle Yost Road.  
 
Detectives have identified the two as Dorothy J. Roy and Dennis E. Roy Sr.
 
Neighbors told 5 News on Tuesday that the couple lived in home on Merle Yost Road for at least 30 years together. They also said they weren't aware of any problems between the couple.
 
Investigators said this incident is still under investigation as a murder-suicide.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Mon County Sheriffs Detectives at 304-291-7218.

An investigation is underway after police found a pair of bodies in a home in Monongalia County Monday morning.
 
Someone called 911 and then hung up around 10:00 a.m. on Merle Yost Road, which is about 14 miles west of Morgantown.
 
When police got to the home they found the two people dead inside. We're told police are investigating the incident as a murder-suicide and that the two are related to each other.
 
Their bodies have been sent to the state medical examiner's office, where they're awaiting autopsies.

I noticed in several of the videos a little dog sitting on the steps of the Roy's house. Has anyone taken care of it?? Please, check and let us know. It looks so lost..missing it's family. Thank you
