Family members received a bit of good news after losing their belongings Wednesday. Their missing cat has been found unharmed.
Crews said a house that caught fire has been destroyed.
5 News spoke to the family who lived there. They said they left their house, and a neighbor called them five minutes later saying it was on fire. When they pulled up they saw fire fighters in the driveway and the home covered in flames. The woman who lived there said "everything happens for a reason."
The 911 center called crews to the scene around 3:30 Wednesday afternoon. No one was hurt, but the family said their dog and cat were missing. They also lost two vehicles that were in the driveway.
There is no word on a cause at this time, and the state fire marshal's office has been called to investigate.  Stay with 5 News for the latest updates.
