5 NEWS UPDATE: Police Confirm Fatality in Terra Alta Accident

State Police confirmed one person died after a two vehicle accident in Preston County near Terra Alta. The woman, 34-year-old Saunya Sines, was pronounced dead on scene. Her car was struck head on in the collision.
The driver of the other car is 26-year-old Jerold Sisler. He was flown to Ruby with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said the cause of the crash is still under investigation.

According to Preston County 911 officials, State Police are investigating a two vehicle accident that happened in Terra Alta on Thursday afternoon.
Veterans Memorial Highway was temporarily closed in the area of Hopemont State Hospital due to a car crash. Route 7 was closed to traffic heading in both directions at Delano's Furniture. Preston County 911 has received reports of a potential fatality, but State Police haven't confirmed the details yet.
