5 NEWS UPDATE (10/25):
 
A car accident in Mon County took the life of an elderly woman.
 
Police say Jennie Lou Pack from Cassville was pulling out of a gas station onto Route 19 at around 2:30 Wednesday afternoon when a man t-boned into her car. Pack died on scene. The man in the other car was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital, but we're told he wasn't seriously hurt. 
 
ORIGINAL STORY (10/24):
 
State Police are trying to figure out what caused an accident that killed an elderly woman in Monongalia County Wednesday afternoon.
 
We're told around 2:30 p.m., a man was heading north on Blue Horizon Drive, which is just north of Morgantown. At the same time, a woman was pulling out Vance's Service Station. Police said the man t-boned her, hitting her drivers side door, and the woman died instantly.
 
The man had to be taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital, but he wasn't seriously hurt.
 
Firefighters on scene said that speed might be a factor in the crash. Stay with 5 News for the latest updates.
