The spokeswoman for Appalachian and Ohio Railroads said the railroad is suppose to re-open Sunday. She also said there was no environmental damage caused from this incident.

There's still no word on why or how this happened.

Original:

An 80-car train carrying coal derailed in Barbour County right outside of Tygart Junction and Lillians Road early this morning.

Officials say nine cars derailed off the track, some spilling coal on the side of the bank next to the tracks.

There are no reported injuries, and crews are still working to clean up the spill.
