Police in Star City are continuing their search for the 16-year-old who has been missing for almost two weeks. Now Police are trying to obtain her cell phone and internet records.
Last week officials told 5 News that they had received a tip that Skylar Neese was in North Carolina. They are now saying that tip was false.
Skylar was last seen seen on surveillance video at James Place Apartments. This case is still being considered a missing persons case. Stay with 5 News for the latest updates.

Monday we alerted you that police in Star City were looking for a 16 year-old girl.
Star City Police told 5 News Thursday that they are now working with the police department in North Carolina after reports that someone had spotted 16-year-old Skylar Neese in that area.
Right now this is still being treated as a missing person's case until the report in North Carolina can be verified. The FBI is also working on this case. Stay with 5 news for the latest updates.

Police in Star City are looking for a 16 year old girl who has not been seen since last week.
Police told 5 News that 16 year old Skylar Neese was last seen Friday. Family members describe her as being about 5'4" or 5'5" and around 130 to 140 pounds.
She has brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing yellow shorts and a multicolored shirt. If you have any information call the star city police at (304) 599-3550.
