The northbound lane on I-79 is now partially opened after a tractor trailer accident.
It happened a little after 7:30 Wednesday evening near mile marker 125.
One tractor trailer somehow rear-ended another tractor trailor. The wreck caused one of the trucks to spill bags of sugar all over the interstate.
Both drivers were trapped inside. The driver of one of the 18-wheelers was taken to United Hospital Center with unknown injuries. The driver in the other truck had to be flown by HealthNet to Ruby Memorial Hospital. All we know is that he suffered head injuries.
The Bridgeport Police Department is investigating.
