Clarksburg police are investigating what caused a water truck to roll over onto a sedan Saturday night, killing two children.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of West Pike Street and Route 50. Clarksburg Police Chief Marshall Goff told 5 News the two children were seven and eight years old. Chief Goff said according to the driver, the truck's brakes stopped working while he was driving down the exit ramp, and that's when he lost control and hit the sedan.
The woman driving that vehicle, who is also the mother of those two children, and the truck driver were taken to UHC. Both of them are expected to be okay.

Prayers for the family of these children....I cannot even begin to imagine losing a child, let alone 2 at the same time.
