AT&T Works to Provide Cell Phones for Soldiers

Do you have an old cell phone you don't know what to do with? You could donate it to someone who's fighting for our country.

AT&T is hosting a program called Cell Phones for Soldiers. They are collecting phones of all shapes and sizes throughout the extended weekend. All you have to do is restore your phone to factory settings and drop it off, or trade in it for a prepaid calling card. Then either that phone or card will be given to a soldier so they can call home. A manager for AT&T  told 5 News this is a small way we can give back.

"AT&T is committed to keeping all active military members in touch with all of their family members back home. Any phone you want to bring into the program and turn in you can. The smartphones and the higher dollar phones obviously produce a higher calling card. Any phone that you want to bring in is compatible" said Dawn Pride, Manager.

If you want to donate your phone just visit your local AT&T store.

Oh great. So AT&T gets the 'credit' for the phones, yet it's other PEOPLE donating the phones? So they are stupid if they think soldiers are going to thank them. We should be thanking those citizens who 'donated' the phones. AT&T is NOT donating them; others are!! What a company; take credit for something others are doing. SOund familiar???

AT&T Is Reportedly Getting Paid $10M for Voluntarily Giving Call Data to the CIA. I don't think anyone wants their service now; ya think??????????

Oh yeah, they have a motive for the move. They work with the corrupt NSA to give them ALL private phone call data from law-abiding citizens who use their service. Yeah, do the research as this info is already out there and available to anyone who 'cares' enough for the truth!
