The Harrison County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and Washington-Irving Middle School Principal Brian Scott Hage reached an agreement on Monday that would allow the charges to be dropped against the school leader if he completes certain requirements.
Hage entered a  pre-trial diversion agreement. That means he must undergo psychological evaluation and retraining. If he completes both of those in a certain time period, the charge against him would be dropped.
5 News is currently reaching out to the Harrison County Board of Education to see if Hage will be allowed to return to Washington-Irving.
Keep checking back for more updates.
