Alum Bridge Deaths Ruled As Double Homicide/Suicide

It was on November 12 when the bodies of 32-year-old Beth Kraus, 5-year-old Kaden Kraus, and 3-year-old Kiera Kraus were found in a burned out barn in Alum Bridge.
The Lewis County Sheriff's Office and Prosecuting Attorney held a press conference Thursday regarding their investigation into what happened in that incident.
After about a month and a half investigators announced that the death of the Kraus family was a double homicide and suicide. At the press conference they announced 32-year-old Beth Ann Kraus shot and killed her two children before setting the barn on fire and turning the gun on herself.
Investigators were suspicious because the barn had no utilities.
Autopsies by the state medical examiner's office later showed all three had died of gunshot wounds.
Investigators have been able to verify that Beth's husband, Doug Kraus, was with other family and then at work at the time of the tragedy.

Was there a gun found? If not how could she shoot her children and then shoot herself and get rid of the gun?

Sounds Fishy . I'm not saying its not possible, but the odds of Mom giving birth, raising them to 3 and 5 and then doing away with them is highly unlikely. Unless...
A. They were in such a bad situation at home that mom thought there was no way out and that they were better off dead. or
B. She was mentally unstable .
Either way I would want proof of them before decideing it wasnt a Triple Homicide.
