There's been yet another armed robbery to tell you about in Morgantown, and this time, one man was apparently struck with a handgun and had his wallet stolen.

Officers aren't sure what led to the robbery on Beverly Avenue just before 5 a.m. Sunday morning, but they said three suspects apparently approached two people, and one of them supposedly struck one of the victims with a gun, then stole their wallet.

Before officers could get there, all three of the suspects fled.

The suspects were described as black men wearing dark-colored hooded shirts and masks,  one about 6'0'' tall, and the other two were about 5'8'' tall.

5 News hasn't gotten word if this robbery is related to the string of armed robberies that have happened in Monongalia County over the past few weeks, but if you have any information, you're asked to call the Morgantown Police Department at (304) 284-7522.
