Apartment Building Damaged In Afternoon Fire

5 News Update:
A fire that started in the basement of a Marion County apartment building has been contained.  According to the Fairmont Fire Department when they arrived on scene they saw light smoke.  They told 5 News that the fire started in the basement, and that they were able to keep the fire from spreading beyond the front of the apartment.
Crews were worried about the fire spreading to a larger complex attached to the building, but have told 5 News that the complex is not in danger of catching fire.  
The cause of the fire has not been determined.  The Fairmont Fire Department is investigating.

5 News has received reports of a fire in Marion County.  According to Marion County 911 officials the fire broke out a little after 4:00 Wednesday afternoon at an apartment building on Locust Avenue.  Initial reports indicate that no one has been injured in this fire.
