Bank Robbery in Westover, Suspect at Large

5 News has learned that the FBI is helping the Westover Police Department with their investigation.
UPDATE (3:45 PM)
The Westover Police Department confirms a suspect about 5'9" walked into the bank with a gun and demanded cash. He got away with an undisclosed amount.
No patrons were inside the WesBanco in Westover at the time, and none of the bank employees were hurt.

When 5 News arrived on the scene, officers from the Westover Police Department, WV State Police, and the Monongalia County Sheriff's Department were there.
There was also a sign on the door of the bank that read "Closed Due to Emergency".
Authorities wouldn't share any information on the scene. We have contacted emergency officials and hope to have more info Thursday night on First at 5.

5 News is following up on a report that the WesBanco in Westover may have been robbed around 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
